Sarah Rayner
Osteopathy & Integrated bodywork
Sarah’s approach to treatment draws on extensive training in osteopathy, sports and deep tissue massage, medical acupuncture and myofascial release and dynamic cupping.
Sarah begins by taking a detailed case history and examination, to understand your condition and to help inform treatment. She will then create a treatment plan for you based on these findings.
Treatment will generally have a strong thread of massage, which may be deep and strong or gentle and light depending on your body, preferences and your condition. Osteopathic techniques, acupuncture or myofascial release may also be included as appropriate.
Sarah is also studying cranial osteopathy and yoga currently and may combine elements from these trainings in her sessions.
Many people come to see Sarah for help with pain in its many forms, be that back, neck or shoulder pain, jaw pain or headaches. Some people also come to relieve general body tension or mental stress. Treatment can have a very soothing effect on the nervous system and therefore makes a great treat for a loved one or as part of your self-care routine.
