Sarah’s approach to treatment draws on extensive training in osteopathy, sports and deep tissue massage, medical acupuncture and myofascial release and dynamic cupping.
Sarah begins by taking a detailed case history and examination, to understand your condition and to help inform treatment. She will then create a treatment plan for you based on these findings. 
Treatment will generally have a strong thread of massage, which may be deep and strong or gentle and light depending on your body, preferences and your condition. Osteopathic techniques, acupuncture or myofascial release may also be included as appropriate. 
Sarah is also studying cranial osteopathy and yoga currently and may combine elements from these trainings in her sessions.

Before Treatment:
If you have not received colonic hydrotherapy before, we recommend a course of 3 treatments taken over a 10-day period.  It is usual that the first treatment is more about hydrating the colon, rather than eliminating impacted fecal matter. For best results avoid eating 2hours before treatment and going to the toilet beforehand.

During the Treatment:
Your treatment will start with the completion of a consultation form to determine your lifestyle and desired outcome of the treatments.
You will lay on a couch and made comfortable.  A single use speculum is lubricated and carefully inserted into the bowel through the rectum.  Filtered warmed water is passed into the colon at a controlled rate.
Waste water and fecal matter travel silently down the waste pipe.
The temperature of the water may be adjusted and an abdominal massage carried out to improve the breakdown and elimination of waste.

Through working with my clients in a collaborative way, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help individuals experiencing confidence and self-esteem issues. It can also help (if necessary in conjunction with medication) in addressing aspects and symptoms of stress, low mood, anxiety (including panic attacks), and in helping people to cope better with physical issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and certain chronic pain conditions.
